About FIR at the RWTH Aachen:

The FIR is a non-profit research and training institution at RWTH Aachen University, focused on business organization, information logistics, and corporate IT. Leading the Smart Logistics Cluster, FIR aims to create agile, adaptive companies. 

Role in the project:

FIR will manage the project, ensuring quality, risk management, and budget control. FIR will also lead the sharing and promotion plan, dissemination of outcomes, and implementation of a sustainability strategy to ensure the project’s continuity beyond its duration.

About CAMEXA:

The German-Mexican Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CAMEXA) promotes economic relations between Mexico and Germany and represents its 750 member companies to various institutions. CAMEXA offers a leading network for bilateral business, supporting Mexican and German companies.

Role in the project:

CAMEXA will lead the creation of an open space for interaction and mediation where professionals and other stakeholders related to the WBL can interact and develop mutual learning, support each other and develop joint initiatives as well as create a repository of cases of Good Practices in Latin America and Europe that serves as a basis and example for the improvement of WBL systems.

About INFODEF:

Instituto para el Fomento del Desarrollo y la Formación, is a private and independent Research, Development and Innovation center. INFODEF designs innovative tools, methodologies, products and services that respond to current social and economic challenges and allow them to anticipate and promote the changes necessary to achieve future goals and objectives.

Role in the project:

INFODEF will lead the VET4Chains Online Open Learning Hub, an advanced multifunctional Learning Platform to support the skills development strategy that will qualify VET practitioners and SME’s staff on the effective use of the tools developed. They will also lead the test and evaluation of the online platform in real training environments.

About CTA:

CTA is a private non-profit corporation formed by universities, private entities, and the State to promote the social appropriation of knowledge in science, technology, and innovation. It designs and implements programs, methodologies, and research to develop agendas, public policies, networks, and institutions, contributing to sustainable development, organizational value, and skill enhancement in society.

Role in the project:

CTA will lead the development of the ECVET curriculum on supporting WBL Excellence in sustainable value chain to improve the knowledge, skill, and competences of VET practitioners and staff from SMEs in the automotive industry.
