VET4CHAINS strives to enhance the education and professional growth of Vocational Education and Training (VET) practitioners and small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) staff in the automotive industry. The project introduces an international Work-Based Learning (WBL) training program, combining online and in-person learning, with a specific focus on five core areas: WBL introduction, sustainable value chains, Industry 4.0 challenges, change management, and digital innovation in SMEs.
Target Audience:
The project aims to address the needs of a varied and dynamic audience, each with unique roles and responsibilities. Our target group encompasses several key sectors critical to both industry and education including:

Objectives of VET4Chains
- To establish and foster an international Collaboration Network
- To develop a training programme in the field of WBL aligning the curriculum to meet contextual needs for the development of resilient Value Chains in the Automotive Sector
- To train VET practitioners in teaching and using pedagogical strategies through digital-blended Work-Based Learning
- To improve knowledge, skills, and competencies of VET practitioners of the automotive industry around resilient and sustainable value chains for the Industry 4.0
- To acquire the skills to implement a WBL process evaluation system
- International certification as WBL trainer
